WHAT TO EXPECT

  • 1 month: Less flaking and oiliness. Your scalp feels calmer and less itchy, your shampoo lathers more easily, and your other products absorb better.
  • 3 months: Hair stays cleaner for longer. With less oil and flaking and fewer blocked follicles, your scalp looks and feels clearer.
  • 6 months: With a clear scalp, and your scalp care routine hard at work, hair feels stronger and fuller at the root.

HOW TO USE

Step 1: Shake well. Brush your hair through and use on a dry scalp before shampooing, once a week.

Step 2: Tilt your head back and use the nozzle to apply directly to your scalp. Cover every inch, as if you're giving yourself a home colour, then massage in gently.

Step 3: Leave on for 5 minutes, building to 10 over the following weeks. Sensitive scalps can start with 2. Rinse well, then shampoo with The Spark or The Defender.

Before / After

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Glycolic Acid (AHA)

Loosens dead skin cells and improves product absorption.

Salicylic Acid (BHA)

Penetrates oily scalp pores to reduce flaking and build-up.

Lactic Acid (AHA)

Gently hydrates while exfoliating.

THE SCIENCE, MADE SIMPLE

"Every day your scalp collects dead skin, oil, pollution and product. When it builds up on your scalp, blocking your follicles, your hair can't get out, and other formulas struggle to get in.

The active ingredients in Bye Bye Build Up were chosen because they act like a pac-man on the surface of your scalp, travelling around, eating up anything that shouldn't be there."

Claire Fullam, founder, certified trichologist.
